The designated meeting spaces in the libraries may be used during regular open hours by organizations and individuals engaged in civic, educational, cultural or charitable activities, whose programs are free and open to the general public. Library meeting spaces serve patrons in multiple ways, including stack browsing, reading, library programming and computer use. No individual group, outside of the Library Board of Trustees and Library Staff, may request exclusive use of any library meeting space and meetings may not interfere with the normal operation of the libraries. Furthermore, the spaces in the libraries used for meetings are limited in terms of access. Not all spaces are wheelchair accessible, including library restrooms.\u00a0 Groups must follow the posted library rules.<\/p>\n
Groups and individuals who accept these terms (free and open meetings, no exclusive use, limited access) may request use of meeting spaces by contacting the library director. Meeting space will be made available on a first come, first served basis and not more than one month in advance.\u00a0 Library furniture and audio visual equipment may be requested for use by any group meeting in one of the libraries.\u00a0 Groups must clean up after they use the area.<\/p>\n
