{"id":189,"date":"2011-10-15T17:58:54","date_gmt":"2011-10-15T21:58:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fosterlibraries.org\/?page_id=189"},"modified":"2011-10-15T17:58:54","modified_gmt":"2011-10-15T21:58:54","slug":"library-services","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/fostercommunitylibrary.org\/?page_id=189","title":{"rendered":"Library Services"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Libraries of Foster offer the following services to the public.\u00a0 Fees are charged for the replacement cost of materials used.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0<strong>Photocopying and computer printouts<\/strong>:\u00a0 Photocopiers are self-service and, with the exception of assisting disabled patrons and patrons who request free copies as stipulated in this policy, staff is not available to make copies. When assisting with the copier, staff will not knowingly violate copyright law. Patrons using the photocopier must adhere to the U.S. Copyright Law when copying materials subject to copyright.\u00a0Community non-profit organizations receive a discount on photocopies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Fees<\/strong>:\u00a0 Black and white copies-.10 each<\/p>\n<p>Color copies-.50 for \u00bc to \u00bd page, $1.00 for full page.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0<strong>Faxing:\u00a0 <\/strong>Staff will adhere to copyright restrictions when faxing materials and a copyright violation warning will be affixed to the front page of copyrighted materials being faxed. Staff may refuse to fax materials that would violate copyright laws.\u00a0Patrons must ask permission to receive an incoming fax and notify the staff of approximate time of its arrival.\u00a0Staff will observe the patron\u2019s rights of privacy and will place fax in an envelope behind the circulation desk.\u00a0 It is the responsibility of the patron to pick up the fax in a timely manner.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Fees:<\/strong>\u00a0 Outgoing fax calls-$1.00 per page.<\/p>\n<p>Incoming faxes &#8211; .10 per page.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Laminating:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Libraries of Foster offer the following services to the public.\u00a0 Fees are charged for the replacement cost of materials used. \u00a0Photocopying and computer printouts:\u00a0 Photocopiers are self-service and, with the exception of assisting disabled patrons and patrons who request free copies as stipulated in this policy, staff is not available to make copies.
