  • Watercolor Paint Night

    Join us at 6pm on Wednesday, February 1st at Foster Public Library for Watercolor Paint Night! Sue Greco will be leading the event, and all materials will be provided for you to paint an adorable forest gnome.

    The event is free, but donations are encouraged to cover material costs. You can donate at the library or online via our Paypal link.

  • Paint a Cactus Rock Friend

    Join us at 12pm on Friday, January 27th for a fun craft afternoon at Tyler Free Library! We’ll provide you with a pot, a rock, paint, and accessories so you can make yourself a little cactus companion.

  • Bring Your Thing

    Got an unfinished project rattling around in your drawer, waiting to be finished? Have a fun craft that you just haven’t had the time to dedicate? Bring it to the Foster Library on Tuesday, January 10th at 6pm!

    Bring whatever you want to work on, no matter how big or small: from scrapbooking to knitting to sewing to writing the next great American novel.

    Join other creatives for company, conversation, and accountability while you make some progress on your personal project! Refreshments will be provided as well.

  • BYOB (Bring Your Own Book)

    Join us on Tuesday, January 17th at 6pm at the Foster Public Library for BRING YOUR OWN BOOK! Rather than have everyone read the same book, we ask each participant to bring whatever books they’ve recently finished. You get to choose whatever page count and subject matter appeals to you. And it’s a great way to get recommendations for your next read!

    Refreshments will be provided. The event will be available by Zoom for those who cannot attend in person. Please provide your email if you would like to be sent a Zoom link on the day of the event.

  • Appalachian Trail Night with Aaron LaPrade

    Join us at Foster Public Library at 6pm on January 12th for a presentation by Aaron LaPrade. Aaron has hiked the entire Appalachian Trail (from Georgia all the way to Maine!) and has a great deal of photos, stories, and insight to share from his travels.

  • Grab and Go Beaded Snowflakes

    Visit Foster Public Library anytime during the week of December 28 for grab and go craft! Pipe cleaners, beads, and instructions are provided in a convenient bag. Assemble your snowflakes here or at home, and display them in your window for winter. Make sure to take photos of your finished craft and share them with us!

  • Homeschool Book Club

    Join at at 1 pm every Wednesday at Foster Public Library for Homeschool Book Club!

    We welcome all kids grade K – 5 to share your love of reading. Bring any book that you liked and share your reading experience, then do crafts with friends. While you’re here, check out a new book for next time!

  • Sing-a-long with Julie Garnett

    Join us on Wednesday, December 14, at 6:30pm at Foster Public Library for a very special sing-a-long event!

    Listen to local RI author Julie Garnett read her book “Animal Songs” and join in with singing holiday tunes. This event is fun for the whole family!
