  • Join Audrey and Olivia at Tyler Free Library for a clay craft! At 1pm on July 14 and 21, we will be making colorful butterflies and caterpillars.

  • Join us on Friday, June 16 at 1pm to make some father’s day cards for the parents in your life! We will be hosting the craft after our regularly scheduled storytime at 12:30 at Tyler Free Library. No registration required; we’ll see you there!

  • Join us at Foster Public Library on June 28 at 3:30 after school for a special read-aloud storytime with Dr. Du!

  • Got an unfinished project rattling around in your drawer, waiting to be completed? Have a fun craft that you just haven’t had the time to dedicate? Bring it to the Foster Library on Tuesday, June 20 at 5:30pm!

    Bring whatever you want to work on, no matter how big or small: from scrapbooking to knitting to sewing to writing the next great American novel.

    Join other creatives for company, conversation, and accountability while you make some progress on your personal project! Refreshments will be provided as well.

  • Join us on Tuesday, June 27, at 5:00pm at Foster Public Library for a sun printing event!

    We’ll be creating cool works of art with the photographic magic of light-sensitive paper. Please bring leaves, flowers, or other natural materials that you would like to make a print of.   • Join us on Tuesday, June 13 at 6pm at Foster Public Library for an evening of spinning! Beth will be giving us a history of fiber preparation, a live spinning demonstration, and reference materials for first-timers.

  • Cookbook Club will meet at 6pm on June 1st at the Foster Center Baptist Church. This month’s theme is recipes from Mangia with Micheline, who has a monthly column in the Foster Home Journal. Bring in your finished recipe, along with utensils to share!

    Cookbook Club always welcomes new members. If you miss this meeting, no worries. The Cookbook Club will meet on the first Thursday of every month at the Foster Center Baptist Church. Stay tuned for each month’s theme. Hope you can join us!

    The Libraries of Foster, in association with Route 6 Outpost, present a safety demonstration for those new to firearm use.

    The program will be held on Tuesday, June 20 at 6:30pm at the Woody Lowden Recreation Center. At the end of the seminar, all attendees will receive a new shooter certificate.
