  • Mother’s Day Cards and Baskets

    Join us at Tyler Free Library on Friday, May 12 at 1pm to make Mother’s Day cards and decorate small May baskets. All ages are welcome!

    This craft will follow our regular 12:30 story time. To register, you can sign up in person, call either library, email ofriederich@fosterlibraries.org, or fill out our online form.

  • Kid’s Plant Identification

    Join us on Saturday, May 6 at 12:30pm at Tyler Free Library for a plant identification program! We will learn which plants are ok to pick, which ones to stay away from, and how to tell them apart, just in time for summer!

  • Grab-and-Go Earth Day Seedling Kits

    Stop by either location on Saturday, April 22, 2023 (Earth Day!) to take one of our seedling kits home!

  • Drop-In Origami Bookmarks

    Stop by Tyler Free Library any time on Friday, April 14th for a drop-in craft! We will have the materials and instructions to make folded animal bookmarks that you can use to keep your place in any story.

    The library will be open from 10am to 4pm. Pick your favorite animal and we’ll help you bring it to life!

  • Ducklings at Foster Public Library

    One of our library assistants, Miss Olivia, will bring ducklings to the Foster Public Library at the end of April!

  • Easter Egg Hunt

    Get ready for the Easter Egg Hunt at the Foster Fairgrounds!

    Due to the predicted weather forecast, the event will take place on the rain date, Saturday, April 8. The egg hunt starts at 11am, so arrive early and bring your own basket.

  • Bring Your Thing! April Edition

    Got an unfinished project rattling around in your drawer, waiting to be completed? Have a fun craft that you just haven’t had the time to dedicate? Bring it to the Foster Library on Tuesday, April 18 at 5:30pm!

    Bring whatever you want to work on, no matter how big or small: from scrapbooking to knitting to sewing to writing the next great American novel.

    Join other creatives for company, conversation, and accountability while you make some progress on your personal project! Refreshments will be provided as well.

  • Popcorn and Pajama Storytime

    Join us on April 20th at 6:30pm for popcorn and pajama storytime! We will read some stories and enjoy some delicious, freshly-popped popcorn at the Foster Public Library.

  • Cookbook Club is Back!

    Cookbook Club will meet at 6pm on April 13th at the Foster Center Baptist Church. Bring an Easter or spring recipe to share with the group and utensils to try them out! Cookbook Club always welcomes new members. All you need is a love of making food!

    After this initial meeting, Cookbook Club will meet on the first Thursday of every month. Hope to see you there!
