  • Clover Clay Bowls

    At 5:30 on March 6, join Lauren from PSNRI to make clay pinch pots for all your tiny trinkets! You will go home with a handmade craft to decorate your space.

  • Needle Felted Leprechauns

    Join us on Saturday, March 2 at 1pm at Tyler Free Library to make adorable leprechauns for the season! Chris from Sweetbriar Handicrafts is joining us for the demonstration and craft.

  • St. Patrick’s Day Door Hangers

    On Monday, March 4 at 5:30pm, join us at Tyler Free Library to make special St. Patrick’s themed door decorations!

    Registration is required due to limited materials. This event is recommended for teens and adults. Sign up in person, by phone, or online.

  • Winter Mushroom Walk

    *NOTE: This event has been postponed due to weather concerns. All who have signed up will be notified of the new date.*

    Join us for another mushroom walk with Deana Thomas! On February 17 at 10:30am, we will meet at Spencer Pond to learn about the fungi that proliferate in cold climates.

  • Backyard Birds of RI

    Learn about birds! At 1pm at Tyler Free Library on February 23, Olivia and Audrey will host a birdfeeder craft where you can learn how to take care of the birds in your backyard.

    This program will take place after our usual 12:30 storytime.

  • Animal Storytime

    Join us on February 21 at 3pm for a special storytime! Heather from the RISPCA will bring an animal from the shelter to read stories with and do a craft.

  • Blind Date with a Book

    During the week of Valentine’s Day, go on a blind date with a book! At both libraries we will have books wrapped up so you can’t see the author or title. Take a chance on a book you wouldn’t otherwise pick!

  • Valentine’s Day Wreaths

    We love love at the Foster Library! Celebrate Valentine’s Day with a festive wreath for your front door. All materials are provided and you will leave the workshop with your own unique decoration.

  • Paper Quilling Valentines

    Join Foster Public Library for the beautiful art of paper quilling! You’ll go home with a curlicue card for a loved one and the skill to make your own quilled creations.

    The class takes place on February 6 at 6pm (snow date: February 8 at 6pm at Tyler Free Library). Due to limited materials, registration is required. Please sign up in person, by phone, or online with this form!

  • Crafty Creators Sewing Circle

    We have a new monthly all-levels sewing group at Tyler Free Library! This group meets on the second Monday of the month at 5pm. Please bring your machine if you have one.
